Unfortunately, there may come a time when you’ll need to know about Samsung Galaxy S10 repairs. You might drop your phone and crack the glass and have to figure out the best way to fix it up good as new.

That scenario might be unlikely for you, but if you find yourself cracking glass often on your smartphones you might want to work extra hard to not break it on your Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, or S10e. That’s because the prices for Samsung Galaxy S10 repairs are the most expensive yet for any Samsung device (via Phone Arena).

However, the repair prices are still cheaper than the same repairs for the Apple iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. So at least you’ve got that to make you feel better.

Check out the repair prices here:

  • Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus
    • $269 — Front display repair
    • $99 — Rear panel repair
  • Samsung Galaxy S10
    • $249 — Front display repair
    • $99 — Rear panel repair
  • Samsung Galaxy S10e
    • $199 — Front display repair
    • $99 — Rear panel repair

For the sake of comparison, the repair costs for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 are $239 for the front panel and $99 for the rear glass.

However, the repair prices for the latest batch of Apple iPhones are almost universally worse, especially when it comes to the back panel:

  • Apple iPhone XS Max
    • $329 — Front display repair
    • $599 — Rear panel repair
  • Apple iPhone XS
    • $279 — Front display repair
    • $549 — Rear panel repair
  • Apple iPhone XR
    • $199 — Front display repair
    • $399 — Rear panel repair
  • Apple iPhone X
    • $279 — Front display repair
    • $549 — Rear panel repair

It should be mentioned that both Apple and Samsung offer protection plans to help consumers avoid these repair costs by fixing anything for a $99 deductible. Apple Care covers all manners of phone issues and costs $9.99 per month, while Samsung Premium Care does the same but costs $11.99 per month. So, in a sense, Apple is undercutting Samsung in this regard.

Still, those are some expensive repairs. It really shows the incentive of keeping your smartphone in a protective case.
