You might not see as much marketing on it, but the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card packs a lot of value while keeping redemption simple. Right now, the card is offering 50,000 miles as a sign up bonus after $3,000 in spend in the first three months. You can take these points at one cent per mile as statement credit towards travel purchases like flights and hotels, which would value the bonus at $500. There is no minimum necessary when redeeming these miles.
However, Capital One also recently began allowing cardholders to transfer their miles to 14 different airline programs. With this additional option value and ability to diversify, your miles are estimated to be worth 40% more at 1.4 cents per mile. This comes from an analysis done on current transfer deals and promotions which result in that option value.

The Venture Rewards card delivers more value than ever with its 14 airline partners. Additionally, the usual $95 annual fee is waived for the first year, which allows you to effectively try the card out free for an entire year.
Earning
As we mentioned above, the Venture card generally keeps its rules simple and this applies to earning miles. Cardholders earn 2 miles for every dollar spent. There is no mental calculus needed to determine which categories of spend get you what bonus. The only exception is a good one – all hotels booked on Hotels.com will earn a whopping 10 miles for every dollar spent. That’s a pretty sweet deal.
Benefits
The Venture card also offers application fee credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck, which is not usually offered on cards that don’t have premium annual fees. Global Entry application costs $100, and you can also gift this perk to a friend if you already have it. Other perks include:
