The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series arguably represents the best value for money devices on the market right now. Touting capable silicon, big batteries, and 48MP cameras, the series ticks quite a few boxes.

Now, the Redmi India Twitter account has confirmed that it’s sold over two million units in the series. The news comes a few months after the company announced that it sold 200,000 Redmi Note 7 units in India during the first flash sale.

The tweet (and a subsequent tweet) also teased a new 48MP smartphone, making it the third Redmi phone with a 48MP shooter. It’s believed that the next 48MP Redmi device could be the brand’s first flagship. The new phone is also tipped to offer a Snapdragon 855 chipset, and will reportedly support the Android Q beta initiative.

It’s not the only device up the brand’s sleeve though, as we’ve also spotted a Redmi laptop on the Bluetooth SIG website. The laptop, dubbed RedmiBook 14, will offer an Intel processor and Bluetooth 5.0. The laptop would join a few other non-smartphone products in the Redmi line-up, including the Redmi AirDots earbuds and a washing machine.
