The Google Pixel 3a may not be as expensive as the Pixel 3 or other flagships, but it’s definitely not cheap at $400. To protect your new phone from bumps and bruises, opting for a case is the way to go.
Although there aren’t a lot of Pixel 3a cases available at the moment since the phone has just been announced, we did come across a few great ones that are worth your money — check them out below. Also if you haven’t ordered your Pixel 3a yet, do so as it’s available today!

Spigen Liquid Crystal Pixel 3a case
The Spigen Liquid Crystal Pixel 3a case is a slim and transparent case, but don’t let that fool you — it offers plenty of protection. The TPU material is also easy to install and protects from both falls and spills. Considering the plastic design of the Pixel 3a is more prone to scratches and minor scuffs that are noticeable, this is a great case to keep protected while showing off the original design. You can get the case on Amazon for $11.99.
Spigen Rugged Armor Pixel 3a case
Spigen is one of the best case makers available, striking a great balance between dependability and affordability. The rugged armor case features a matte black finish with carbon fiber highlights that looks great. The design is built with durability in mind, so it can take a knocking without damaging your phone. The case also features raised edges that help better protect the screen.
Vinve Google Pixel 3a case
The Pixel 3a case by Vinve is made from TPU and has a carbon fiber pattern at the top and bottom that gives it a bit of character. It has a raised lip at the front as well as the back to protect the display and camera from scratches.
The case comes in black, blue, and red, is resistant to fingerprint and moisture, and is soft as well as flexible for a great feeling the hand. You can get it for $7 or $8, depending on the color you choose.
ESR Pixel 3a case with kickstand
This ESR case is made with a flexible TPU that offers decent protection for your phone. The buttons are covered and a raised lip around the display and camera unit keep them safe from damage. The standout feature of this case though is the included metal kickstand that lets you prop up the phone in both the landscape and portrait orientation. The ESR case with metal kickstand is priced at $21.99.
Otterbox Defender
If you’re looking for complete protection for the Pixel 3a, it doesn’t get much better than the Otterbox Defender. This rugged case includes a solid outer shell, along with an inner softer lining that’s designed to keep the Pixel 3a safe from falls of several feet. It also comes with its own belt holster that can also double as a kickstand for some hands-free video watching. The Otterbox Defender Pixel 3a case is available for $60 and comes in black, purple, and something called dark lake. If you’re looking for something that isn’t as heavy duty, the Otterbox Symmetry case is a good option as well.
Google fabric case for the Pixel 3a
The fabric case that Google first introduced with the Pixel 2 series is now also available for the Pixel 3a. There are no bells and whistles here. A hard shell case is covered with a fabric that feels great and provides a lot of grip. The inside is also lined with a soft microfiber for extra cushioning. The case is also compatible with the Active Edge feature of the phone. The Google fabric case is priced at $40.
