Today only, you can grab popular tower defense game Bloons TD 6 for free. The game still includes in-app purchases, but at least you won’t pay the $4.99 that it normally goes for.
The latest entry in developer Ninja Kiwi’s series of Bloons TD tower defense games, Bloons TD 6 is the first game in the series to feature 3D graphics. Your main objective is to build your tower defenses and fight off waves of “bloons” that now include Purple, Fortified, and B.A.D. bloons.
You can pick from 19 different monkey towers, with each tower featuring three upgrade paths. You can also select “hero” monkeys that each feature two unique abilities to keep bloons at bay.
Ninja Kiwi also includes new game modes to each game difficulty, like Restricted Monkeys, Double Health MOABs, and the new CHIMPS rules. You can even play single player games offline, just in case Wi-Fi or cellular data isn’t available.
As previously stated, Ninja Kiwi didn’t remove any in-app purchase for Bloons TD 6 just because the game is free. As such, expect to cough up anywhere from $0.99 to $54.99 for those in-app purchases. You can buy in-game currency, though we found that there’s no need to do so if you’re okay with some grinding.
