Thanks for joining us at Plan Picks, where we round up some of the best carrier deals of the week.

Today we’ve got the latest Sprint Flex Lease gems, and a ‘buy one, get one’ deal from Verizon that could save you over $1,000. That’s where we’ll start.

BOGO Pixel 3 or 3 XL from Verizon

Verizon is offering $800 in bill credit if you purchase two Google Pixel 3 or 3 XL handsets. That’s the equivalent of getting a Pixel 3 for free, hence the BOGO promotion. Sure, it means you recoup the money you paid for the second handset slowly, but it’s a huge savings to make.

Even better, you can combine this promotion with the $300 savings already offered on a Pixel 3. Overall, you can end up paying just $500 for two Pixel 3 handsets worth a combined $1,600.

Just $500 for two handsets worth a combined $1,600.

There are a few caveats, of course. You need to have approved credit, and you’ll need at least one new line of service for the second handset. The savings you make are bill credits over a 24-month cycle.

Sprint Flex Lease savings

We’re fans of the Sprint Flex Lease system. You don’t keep the phone after you upgrade, but you always have the latest flagship at a superb rate.

Samsung Galaxy S10 left profile

The latest price drop on the Flex lease scheme is the Samsung Galaxy S10. Instead of the usual $37.50 per month lease price, you can now get one for just $15 per month.

As with pretty much all of these deals, a new line of service is required, and the savings you make are after bill credit applied on an 18-month Flex Lease. However, you can upgrade to the latest Galaxy model after just 12 months.

There are other huge Flex Lease savings to be had, including the LG G8 ThinQ — with a retail value of $840 — for just $8 per month. That’s almost one-quarter of the usual Flex Lease rate on this smartphone.
