It seems the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 (or the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4, depending on your location) is shaping up to be the most successful fitness band from the company yet.

According to Donovan Sung, a global spokesperson for Xiaomi, the company shipped one million units in just eight days, a new record for the line. Sung announced the news on Twitter yesterday.

Although the comments underneath this tweet are mostly positive and congratulatory, there are quite a few people lamenting that the Mi Band 4 hasn’t yet landed in India. The Xiaomi brand is huge in that country, where it is the number one smartphone manufacturer — even larger than Samsung, Huawei, and Apple. Why the Mi Band 4 isn’t there yet is a curious mystery, although it will likely arrive soon.
