Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro) listed in Europe, looks like a good deal

The Redmi K20 Pro is coming to Europe as the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.

The Redmi K20 Pro is arguably the best value for money smartphone of 2019, currently available in both China and India. We’ve already seen the standard K20 hit Europe earlier this year as the Mi 9T, but it looks like the Redmi K20 Pro is on the way too.

According to WinFuture, the Mi 9T Pro (also known as the Redmi K20 Pro) was listed on the website of Dutch retailer and official distributor Belsimpel.

The retailer lists the 6GB/64GB variant at €429 (~$481), which is significantly more expensive than the Indian starting price (~$406). Furthermore, Indian users get 128GB of storage as the base model. Need more storage? Well, the retailer lists the 128GB model at €479 (~$537).

This isn’t necessarily representative of the official Mi 9T Pro price for the rest of Europe, but I wouldn’t expect pricing to shift significantly in either direction when it officially launches. In any event, it still makes for one of the cheaper flagship phones in Europe.

The Mi 9T Pro packs a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6.39-inch AMOLED screen with in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery with 27 watt charging. Xiaomi’s device also offers a 20MP pop-up selfie camera, a triple rear camera trio (48MP, 13MP ultra-wide, and 8MP 2x telephoto), and a 3.5mm port.

Our own Dhruv Bhutani praised the phone in his Redmi K20 Pro review, saying it’s the affordable flagship to beat.

“The Redmi K20 Pro is one of the best deals in smartphones right now. It undercuts the OnePlus 7 and Asus Zenfone 6 in price while offering similar specs,” he noted at the time.
