Plan Picks: Note 10 deals including 50% off or a $1,300 savings!

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus screen head on 2

There was only ever going to be one smartphone in our Plan Picks spotlight this week. The stunning Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus devices are available for pre-order now ahead of the August 23 release date.

They’re not cheap, but both Sprint and Verizon are running promotions to save you a bundle. Sprint is offering a half-price Flex Lease deal, saving you over $350, and Verizon is offering a BOGO deal worth as much as $1,300.

$1,300? Let’s talk Verizon!

We thought that might have caught your eye. There is an immense saving to be made if you and a friend both like the look of this latest flagship.

When you pre-order two Note 10 or Note 10 Plus phones from Verizon, you’ll get the value of a Note 10, which is $950, reimbursed to you in promo credit across 24 months. That’s just under $40 per month off your bill, or effectively one handset free.

On top of that, there’s a $200 prepaid Mastercard thrown in if you’re switching to Verizon, and a $100 Samsung voucher with the Note 10. That rises to a $150 voucher if you pick up the bigger model.

Since you’re getting two phones, you’ll need at least one new line of service with Verizon to take advantage of this deal, and you’ll want to make sure you read all the terms and conditions or course.

To make sure this is the deal for you, head on over to Verizon via the button below.

But what if I just want one Note 10?

Verizon still has your back. If you trade in your old phone when you purchase either Note 10 model, you receive $450 back in promo credit across your 24-month contract. The $200 prepaid Mastercard is available too.

Nice and simple, but you might assume it’s only last year’s Samsungs that are eligible for trade-in. Well, you’d be wrong. Quite remarkably, there’s a huge list of eligible devices you can trade in, stretching as far back as the Galaxy S4 and the iPhone 5s.

The trade-in phone needs to be in good working and cosmetic condition, of course.

So the question is, can Sprint do better?

Well, yes and no. You can’t save you as much as $1,300 or even $450, but they can put a Note 10 in your hands for a lower price overall.

Why? Because it’s a Flex Lease. You don’t own the phone, but you have it until the newest model comes along, and you’ll pay a fraction of its value.

The Note 10 is just $19.79 per month, which is half the regular Flex Lease price. Spread across an 18-month lease, That’s just over $350 you’ll pay for a $950 smartphone.

The Note 10 Plus is only $26 per month, with the same monthly saving. Both phones are also part of the Galaxy Forever scheme, meaning you can upgrade to the latest Samsung marvel after just 12 months.

Is there a ton of small print?

Not really, but always worth asking. Here are the main points of note:

  • The savings are applied in bill credit within two bills.
  • You need approved credit on an 18-month lease and a new line of service.
  • If you cancel early you have to pay the remaining balance.

That’s about the size of it, but do see the full terms on the Sprint site. To check them out and get your hands on this stunning new smartphone first, hit the button below.
