Legit-looking OnePlus 7T Pro renders leak, including McLaren edition

A new set of CAD-based renders just leaked of the OnePlus 7T Pro and its accompanying McLaren Edition (via 91Mobiles). The source of the renders is none other than reliable leaker @OnLeaks, so it’s very likely these renders are legit.

The renders seem to suggest that the OnePlus 7T Pro won’t look much different from the current OnePlus 7 Pro. That suggests that the true differences between this model and the previous will be internal.

At first glance, the OnePlus 7T Pro seems to be in the same Nebula Blue color option for the 7 Pro. However, according to 91Mobiles, this is actually a slightly different blue color called Haze Blue. Perhaps things will be noticeably different when we see it in real life.

Other than that, there’s pretty much no changes to see here. The pop-up selfie cam is in the same place and appears to be the same size. The triple-lens camera system on the rear appears unchanged as well.

As for the McLaren edition, there doesn’t appear to be much difference there either, aside from the fancy black and orange paint job and the addition of the McLaren logo on the back.

The McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T included a boost in RAM as well as a faster-charging capability. However, it’s unlikely the McLaren edition could get more RAM than the top-of-the-line 7 Pro as that’s at 12GB, which is already overkill. It’s more likely that the 7T Pro and the McLaren edition will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and maybe a higher-capacity battery and/or more internal storage space.

What do you think? Would you upgrade from the 7 Pro to this OnePlus 7T Pro if the outside is pretty much the same? Let us know in the comments.
