Say you are a serious online PC gamer. You likely want to compete online with friends, or maybe you are even a pro esports competitor. If that’s the case, you know it’s important to get a smooth performance out of your PC when running games. For the past few years, it has become increasingly important for gamers to have as fast of a refresh rate as possible for their monitor.

At CES 2020 this week, Asus officially announced a new PC gaming monitor, the ROG Swift 360Hz. As the name suggests, this monitor will offer up to 360Hz refresh rates. Asus worked with NVIDIA to put this faster technology into this 24.5-inch Full HD monitor. Naturally, the ROG Swift 360Hz is compatible with Nvidia’s GeForce graphics cards and its G-Sync tech.

Gamers who play online titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six: Siege, Overwatch, and Fortnite can get frame rates up to 360 FPS if they have a powerful PC. The Asus ROG Switf 360Hz monitor will allow those gamers to play with little to no graphic tearing or bumps. You will get a clearer image of the game, with lower latency, and that could be all the difference between winning or losing a match.

The Asus ROG Swift 360Hz is definitely one of the best PC monitors of CES 2020. It will go on sale sometime later this year but no price point has been revealed.
