Update: November 27, 2019 (9:45 AM ET): “Flip to Shhh” is a Digital Wellbeing feature that allows users to easily enable Do Not Disturb on their devices by flipping the display face down. It initially launched on the Pixel 3 line of devices as an exclusive feature, but Pixel 2 owners will be surprised to know that the feature is finally coming their way.
A Redditor recently noticed the new feature in the latest beta version of Digital Wellbeing. You can get your hands on Digital Wellbeing beta by joining its official Play Store beta program.
Once you’ve done that, enabling the feature is as simple as navigating to either Settings>Digital Wellbeing or Settings>System>Gestures. In either location, you will now see the new “Flip to Shhh” section where you can toggle the feature on and off.

The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL launched with Android Oreo in 2017 and have since been updated to Android 10. The phones are expected to receive one more major update as per Google’s smartphone update policy, with official support ending in October 2020.
Google tends to update its Pixel phones with the latest Android version on the day it first becomes available. That means the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL should see Android 11 as soon as the final version rolls out. That’s expected around September 2020.
