The AAPicks team are excited about the new Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL, so we want to find you the best offers. Both Sprint and Verizon have juicy promotions to lure you in. We’ve summarised them for your convenience.

Spoiler alert: If you’re someone who grows tired of their smartphone quite quickly, then the Sprint Flex Lease plan might be for you. As for Verizon, it’s offering you straight up savings if you upgrade or sign up for a new line.

What’s the Flex Lease Deal?

The Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL retail at $399 and $479 respectively. That’s quite an upfront cost for some.

If you don’t want to pay that because you’ll just upgrade next year, try leasing with Sprint. Their latest deal will save you an extra $100 over 18 months.

That means you’ll only pay around $11 per month for the Pixel 3a, or roughly $14 per month for the Pixel 3a XL, along with your plan. Qualifying plans start at $60 per month.

To put that in perspective, you’re essentially paying under $200 over 18 months to lease a brand new Google Pixel 3a. Then, once you’ve had your fun, Sprint allows you to do an optional upgrade after 12 months. They’ll even cover your switching fees for up to $650.

If you so happen to fall in love with the phone during your lease, you can pay the difference at the end of the lease and it’s yours.

What’s the catch?

No catch here. You simply need to start a new phone line and partner up with Sprint for 18 months to get the full savings. Oh, and of course you need an adequate credit score to apply.

So what’s Verizon offering on the Pixel 3a?

You can also save $100 with Verizon. This time it’s across 24 months, but you get to keep the phone at the end.

Verizon will straight up knock an extra $100 off the handset cost if you open a new phone line, or $50 off if you upgrade. As per usual, you’ll see the savings in bill credit.

If that isn’t enough to ease your wallet, the full cost of the phone is broken up into 24 installments. Each installment will have you paying only $12.50 for the Pixel 3a or $15.83 for the Pixel 3a XL, plus your plan of course.
