All You Need to Know

Elden Ring is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It will be available on Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, as well as PlayStation 4, Playstation 5. The game is scheduled to be released on February 25, 2022.

Elden Ring takes place in the realm of the Lands Between, sometime after the destruction of the titular Elden Ring. The shards of the destroyed Elden Ring, called the Great Runes, are scattered across the land. The player’s objective is to traverse the realm, find all the Great Runes to restore the Elden Ring, and become the Elden Lord.

Key Features of Elden Ring

Elden Ring is an open-world, action role-playing game (RPG) played in a third-person perspective. Players create their characters and experiment with various weapons and magical abilities to form their playstyle.

Open-World: World Map

While an open-world feature does not sound unique, Elden Ring features a map where players can easily navigate the open world. With the help of the map, you can view your current location, mark locations, unlock checkpoints known as Sites of Lost Grace, and fast travel around the map within the unlocked checkpoints.

Enhanced Jumping Ability

An increase in jumping ability should allow players to access otherwise unreachable sites.

Easier Healing

In Elden Ring, players don’t have to go to Sites of Grace to replenish their health. Defeating enemies allows players to refill their flask to heal from sustained damages.

Mounted Combat

Enables players to fight opponents on horseback. So take your might steed and charge at your enemies.

Multiplayer Option

Elden Rings has confirmed that players can co-op up to four players. When players summon friends for co-op, the summoned players will appear as phantoms.
